Delsys Recognition for Best EMG Presentation, ISPGR 2007

The 2007 Delsys Recognition for Best EMG Presentation was awarded at the 18th Conference of the ISPGR (International Society for Posture and Gait Research) in Burlington, Vermont. This year's winner received a 2-Channel Bagnoli EMG System with EMGworks Software, A/D card and a Plaque.

The prize was awarded to: Dr. Antonio Nardone at the Istituto Scientifico di Riabilitazione in Veruno, Italy for his work entitled "Balance control is more severely affected in Sensory Neuron Disease (SND) than in diabetic polyneuropathy." This recognition is offered at every year at major EMG related congress and is presented to the first author of a Paper or Poster presentation that presents exceptional EMG research

The 2007 Delsys Start-Up Sponsorship

Delsys is proud to offer the Sponsorship as an addition to the continuing tradition of supporting and fostering new research initiatives in the field of electromyography across the globe. 

The Delsys Start-Up Sponsorship provides a 20% discount towards the purchase of Delsys Inc. electromyography (EMG) equipment.  Its purpose is to assist with initial start-up costs when establishing new research and development facilities for studies in electromyography.

This opportunity is available to all academic institutions.

Delsys Recognition for Best EMG Presentation, ISEK Congress 2006

A 2-Channel Bagnoli EMG System with EMGworks Software, Desktop A/D card and a Plaque was awarded for the Best EMG Presentation at the XVIth Congress of the International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology in Torino, Italy.

This prize was valued at $4,000, and was awarded to: Dr. Eric Perreault at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, USA for his work entitled "Task-Dependent Reflex Contributions to Multijoint Coordination". This recognition is offered at every ISEK congress and is presented to the first author of a Paper or Poster presentation that presents exceptional EMG research.

Delsys Recognition for Best EMG Presentation, ISB Congress 2005

This prize was valued at $4,000 and was awarded to:

Dr. Prism Schneider, at the University of Calgary, Canada for her work entitled "Effect Of Dynamic Ankle Joint Stiffness On Joint Mechanics And Muscle Activation Patterns During Locomotion".

This recognition is offered at every ISB congress and is presented to the first author of a Paper or Poster presentation that presents exceptional EMG research.

Delsys Recognition for Best EMG Presentation, ISEK Congress 2004

A $2000 US dollar cash prize and a Plaque was awarded for the Best EMG Presentation at the XVth Congress of the International Society of Electrophysiology and Kinesiology in Boston, USA .

The Prize was awarded to: Dr. Debra Falla,at the University of Queensland, Australia for her work entitled, "A Novel EMG Technique for the Assessment of the Deep Cervical Flexor Muscles".
