Running a Configuration

A test configuration may be run by clicking Start Test > from the Test Configuration Editor.  This will use the subject and operator selected in the configuration.  You may also run a test without editing it via the Quick Run option in the Test Configuration Manager.  This will allow you to select a subject and operator from the database before running the test, but will not give you an opportunity to edit the configuration.

When running the configuration you will be presented with a view of the configuration which is not editable.  A task may be run by selecting it with a single click and pressing the Run Task button, by double clicking the task, or by selecting, then right clicking the task and choosing Run Task.  Task selection is indicated with a blue border.  After returning from a task that was run, the next task in the protocol will be automatically selected, but you can run tasks in any order, or repeat tasks that have already been run.  Tasks that have been run will get a check icon.  By right clicking a MVC task, you can clear the MVC information.
