Dr.Li Le, received Ph.D degree in the Department of Health Technology and Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007. He completed his postdoctoral training in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University at 2010. From 2014-2016, Dr. Li worked as a visiting scientist at TIRR Memorial Hermann Research Center and Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, UTHealth at Houston, USA. He is currently an associate professor in the department of rehabilitation medicine, first affiliated hospital, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. His research interests include biosignal processing (EMG) , neuromusculoskeletal modeling of normal and spastic subjects, and musculoskeletal ultrasound application.
Dr.Chuanxin Minos Niu Ph.D., Associate Professor. He studied electrical engineering (B.S. 2006) at Beijing Institute of Technology. He received Ph.D. in BioEngineering from University of Illinois at Chicago specialized in neurorehabilitation, co-advised by Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. From the year 2010 to 2014, Dr. Niu completed his postdoctoral training as research associate at University of Southern California, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. Dr. Niu joined the Department of Rehabilitation, Ruijin Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2015. His current research focuses on neural control of movements, mechanisms of neurological diseases with movement impairments, and how to apply principles of neural computation in neurorehabilitation. Dr. Niu received the “Shanghai Youth Eastern Scholar” award, and he is currently funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No.81501570)
