Dr. Nina Suresh, Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Feinberg School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Single Motor Unit Lab at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, Chicago IL, will visit Delsys on Tuesday September 11th to present her research on the use of EMG. Nina Suresh received her PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago from 1989 to 2003. She is currently Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Feinberg School of Medicine and Co-Director of the Single Motor Unit Lab at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, Chicago IL. Her research interests are in the mechanisms of spasticity and weakness post stroke; precision medicine; and acute to chronic changes post stroke.
