Clinical and sports engineering biomechanics: different priorities, but common needs in terms of measurement and modeling
A day to communicate and exchange views between scientists, clinicians and engineers, focusing on detailed capture of foot movements, barefoot and shod, from a clinical (pathological walking gait to running trauma) to an industrial (prosthetics to sport shoes) perspective.
Come and join us to get trained and share your expertise with users from various horizons, looking at different multisegment visions of the foot, from motion capture techniques to models, thanks to keynotes given by some of the best authors in the field.
On Thursday May 4th, 2017, at the Centre National de Rééducation Fonctionnelle et de Réadaptation – Rehazenter du Luxembourg, from 8:00 to 16:30.
We recommend arriving the day before, for you to enjoy our informal social gathering with a nice meetup in the evening before our full session day.
