Program Layout > Dialog Boxes

Plot Properties

The Plot Properties dialog box allows the user to modify the appearance of Plots. It can be opened a number of different ways. If it is opened by right clicking on a Subplot and choosing Properties from the pull-down menu or if it is opened by choosing Plot > Propeties... from the Main Menu, then the specified settings will be applied only to the selected Subplots. If the Plot Properties dialog box is opened from the Plot Wizard, then the specified settings will be applied to all of the Subplots of the Plot that is produced. In addition, if the check box is marked at the end of the Plot Wizard then the settings used in creating the current Plot will be set as the default settings. Whenever a Plot is created by any method, these setting will be used.

The General tab allows the user to specify some basic preferences for Plots.
